With the substantial generous donations of our members and supporters, we have raised funds for over 100 food parcels. Over the past few weeks, we have organised and delivered these food parcels in collaboration with organisations such as Red Cross and Fatimah Foundation.

Ramadan Food Parcels    

Poverty is a real issue all over the globe. New Zealand is no exception. 1 in 4 children lives in poverty.  One in 7 households lives in poverty. Essentially, this term refers to hunger, food insecurity, poor health outcomes, and debt among other things.

As PIF members, we are trying to make a positive difference through our actions. We have recognised that the relief of poverty is so important that even helping a relatively small number of people can be significant. Our goal is to bring individuals together to communities in need.

We are working together with other organisations around us to help those families in need by means of food parcels distribution.

Parcels will include toilet paper, tea, biscuits, pasta, noodles, rice, cereal, canned tomato, jam, baked beans, sunflower oil, and peanut butter. Each food parcel will cost NZD $40. Will you provide food parcels for those in need?

Our community, businesses, and tens of individuals are clearly excited and eager to see this project succeed. However, In order to ensure the success of this very important campaign, we are seeking contributions to help defray the costs associated with it, so that all funds raised can go directly toward the community.

Your donation will bring us closer to our goal. Donations can be directly credited to our account referencing your name and including food parcel in the particulars. Alternatively, you may send your cheque to our PO box address. Please, help us achieve our goal of delivering 100 food parcels this month.
