Another inspiring evening of learning and connection was shared as PIF Community Hub Program 3 was held successfully on 19 June at the Elevate Youth & Community Centre, bringing together members of our diverse communities. Under the theme “Culture and Identity in Fostering Belonging and Participation,” participants explored how cultural identity shapes our sense of belonging and strengthens community participation. Our guest speaker, Mr. Anwar Nadat, Assistant Principal of Ōwairaka District School led an engaging and interactive session, drawing on his own experiences and encouraging meaningful conversations among participants. We extend our sincere appreciation to the Ministry of Education New Zealand for their continued support and funding of the PIF Community Hub programme series. Thank you to everyone who joined us. We look forward to welcoming you to next month’s session as we continue to explore timely topics that matter to our communities.
