The International Festival of Language and Culture (IFLC) 2025 was held on 7 September in Sydney, Australia, bringing together the colors, sounds, and traditions of 12 countries from across the globe. The vibrant celebration showcased the power of language, music, and art in connecting cultures and inspiring unity. Students from Romania, Germany, Tanzania, Kazakhstan, South Africa, Indonesia, Japan, USA, Philippines, Tunisia, Papua New Guinea, and New Zealand lit up the stage with breathtaking performances. Each act reflected the unique traditions of their homeland while embracing the spirit of togetherness that defines IFLC. Representing New Zealand, the Pearl of the Iris Foundation (PIF) proudly organized a group of students to perform the iconic Kiwi Haka dance. Guided by dedicated trainers, the students spent weeks rehearsing songs and movements, preparing with passion and discipline for their moment on the international stage. Their performance in Sydney was met with admiration, adding a powerful voice to the celebration of cultural diversity. Beyond the stage, IFLC 2025 was marked by excellent hospitality. Organizers ensured that participants, including students and accompanying guests, were warmly welcomed and well cared for with comfortable accommodation and nourishing meals. The event was not only about performance, but also about creating lasting friendships and meaningful cultural exchanges.
