Home > Upcoming Events > Intercultural Dialogue Platform > COVID-19: Response, Reflection and Resilient future for CALD communities
13 November, 2020
10:00 am
Fickling Convention Centre, Waikowhai Room, 546 Mount Albert Road, Three Kings, Auckland 1042

The coronavirus has had a major impact on New Zealanders from all walks of life. CALD communities have also had to struggle with this impact exacerbated by lack of understanding of the health system. However, there has been a great response from the relevant agencies.

The Pearl of the Islands Foundation has teamed up with the Umma Trust to organise an information session for ethnic communities to reflect on the health response over the pandemic and the way forward.

This will be an opportunity to hear from the Ministry of Health and other relevant authorities and have your questions answered. Speakers will be announced in due course.

With the current alert level, we can organise a public event with no restriction on guest numbers. However, we will encourage the use of masks, sanitizers, and contract tracing.
