Pearl of the Islands Foundation held its 3rd Annual Parliament Iftar Dinner during the fasting month of Ramadan. Close to 100 people were invited including many religious leaders, academics, politicians and close friends of PIF.

The program began with the ‘Ezan’ (call to prayer) and soon followed speeches made by PIF Directors Mr. Taner Basar and Mr. Kerem Caliskan. The Turkish Sufi Music and Whirling Dervishes group from Australia also performed on the night which proved to be a very special experience for many people. We thank Ms. Pauline Cornwall for accepting to being the MC for the night and everyone who shared this special evening with us.
